I'm scared of pigeons, but

I WANT A FLYING PIGEON (although I'll replace the basket with a wicker one).

Their tagline is “有蓝天就有飞鸽, 让飞鸽伴你同行。” According to Bicycling.com, the Flying Pigeon was (and is) so ubiquitous in China that Deng Xiaoping — the post-Mao leader who launched China's economic reforms in the 1970s — defined prosperity as a "Pigeon in every household." Besides, it's amusing that although the name 飞鸽 has been mistranslated into Flying Pigeon from the original peaceful-sounding Flying Dove, the mistranslation is strikingly appropriate, given how 10 million of these bicycles swarm the roads in Beijing.

Unfortunately, it's probably near impossible to rely solely on a bicycle in Singapore, with the oppresive humidity and the lack of bike-friendly infrastructure. Damnit, because there's just something about cycling, whizzing through a city's streets. But that's probably just in Copenhagen.
