Later that day I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous...

With utmost reluctance, I am done with all SIX seasons of Sex and The City. Yes even the last 2 episodes which I've had lying around for a week. Deliberately left them unwatched because... as ridiculous as it may sound, I couldn't bear to complete the series but oh well, I did and can now conclude that it has been the most engaging drama serial that I have ever watched, with themes and questions that are all too relevant for comfort.

A fairy-tale ending for Mr Big and Carrie which I should have frowned upon, but surprisingly(or not), didn't.

BAAHH just got punk'd by kennychng and wongshouteik! : /

The stupid boys bluffed that they were on the verge of being stopped by a road block along yiochukang road and wanted me to wake my dad up to save them. Obviously I panicked for them; those damned boys! But haha oh well, a light way to end the night so well, thank you. The rounds of FFC were a very welcome distraction, despite being undisputedly disgusting, haha.

But still, BAAHH !

it's a magical world

power corrupts

Because today's plans didn't work out and although that really didn't matter (excuse the rambling) because yes alternative plans could always be found, I was rather peeved about not being in a position of control (even of my own day's plans!) and thus,

Rui bought a pair of new heels -

Shiny black slingbacks that screamt power and authority belonging to a woman, no less, who is now well-equipped to kick anyone in those shins with those pointys.

But oh well, kind is me.

living for the weekend

Because nothing there is no great underlying theme (ie nothing dramatically major has happened, only random nuggets) therefore Rui dishes out an entry in point form -

(and besides, it's a saturday night and she's at home. but then again, to the young and jobless, every night is a saturday night, no?)

1. Am going to be retarded and order Coffee Bean breakfast sets for supper when the opportunity arises ( : After all, they're supposedly available "All day (& night I presume)" haha. There's that uplifting effect breakfast foods brings about that is vaguely similar to the likes of chocolate and other deserts hmm.
   


2. Sun-tanning was cancelled because of early morning showers, though it was unlikely that I could have woken up anyway, after 2 consecutive days of too much alcohol - mambo on wed and emo-night (ha) at kenny's place on thurs. I need to quit falling asleep on tables at prata shops and so that I'll stop mumbling nonsense in states of semi-consciousness resulting from both fatigue and intoxication.
   


3. Bangkok, here we come! 30 June to 03 July :D


4. Am reading 3 books at a go now, all halfway done. Speaks so much of my attention span (or lack thereof)! Subtext anyone, even down to the details.


5. RGym training with the girls made me miss doing routine after routine in front of the mirrors and the subsequent lying exhausted, tummy-down on the brown mats in a circle, gossiping and discussing after-training food escapades.


6. I remember us writing letters to each other when I was in sec1 and you were in sec4 and my captain as part of a team-bonding effort. I remember all us juniors chuckling while watching you on the balance beam, for your high-jump trainings led to you having upper thighs that were of a distinctively lighter shade than the rest of your legs... I remember you, Lena.

so happy together :D

So Rui's NINETEENTH birthday came... and went.

So that was quite a night,
Complete with girls clad in pinafores and boys in green shorts and metal buttons, a chocolate cake fight (how very school-canteenish), drinking games in the jacuzzi (bbloop), eating muji paper cards, too many surprises that included gorgeous black heels from the girls, painstakingly written birthday cards, indulgent presents from the boys and the most suprising of all, the song with lyrics filled in by the talented boys ( :
