the glorious days

From Garance Doré —
A friend and I were saying last year that the first sign of spring isn’t the sprouting foliage. Nuh-uh. You see it first in shop windows displaying colors and light outfits that distill in our spirits the idea that yes, one day, spring will come. One day.

what im trying to say

(angsty mode)

this is hypocritical because i owe some people emails

but

WHY DO PEOPLE NOT REPLY TO EMAILS.

it's not as if you're dead. fuck lah if someone cares enough to email you, surely 6 weeks has been enough for you to craft a reply?

WHY DO I EVEN CARE.

it's here then it's gone

When we woke up, there was snow everywhere. I sat on the window-sill and stared, at how everything was covered with a blanket of white. But of course, by the time I returned from class, everything had melted away. I guess some things aren't meant to stay around for long, in this city.

stop snowing already

WHY IS IT SNOWING NOW.

Because it's still winter, damnit. Enough, enough, of all this winter wonderland nonsense. I remember Risse saying this when we were in the Tuileries — only now can we understand how people can churn out impossibly passionate poems about flowers blooming with the arrival of spring... Where are you, Spring!
