So, I'm off later today to Nottingham (: To watch Death Cab for Cutie, and to get some fresh air — Alec says Notts has the most beautiful campus in the UK, with its vast expanse of rolling hills (and little else).

Now, the grittier side of life.

Life really isn't turning out out the way everyone thought it would be, and how everyone hoped it would be. What can one still say amidst all this? That there is everlasting love? That we'll all eventually snag wonderful boys who will be Mr Right? That we should let go of ourselves and place our hearts in the hands of another, in complete trust? That all problems can be sorted out if you work at it long and hard enough?

How are we going to continue thinking all these impossibly romantic thoughts?
