Hej København!

More than one week late! But here goes (:

So well yeah, my room's an ikea showroom (: It's in the attic and it' nice and cosy (maybe also because the danish only use warm lighting and refuse to use white lights). But yeah of course my room is a lot messier now than it was then (what else do you expect).

So after just kinda throwing my luggage in my room, I set out to explore the city on my own! (: Took the S-train to København H station, and walked down the Strøget, which apparently is the longest pedestrian shopping area in Europe or something. Didn't shop (although of course I saw like 4 H&Ms I think, and all your other familiar brands like UO and Topshop ), but yeah was nice walking down and trying hard not to look touristy. They've got damn a lot of buskers though, and well, seems like a nice place to sit down, have coffee and people-watch.

So yeah us randomly walking around Copenhagen over the next couple of days (: That is my first friend you see! From my danish class, who thought I was from Hong Kong when he first saw me, nice. But then again, only Singaporeans can tell Singaporeans apart from the other Chinese people. And sometimes, our judgment is damn shag also — we asked this girl if she was Korean when she's Chinese, like us. Damn embarassing.

We went to the asian supermarket at København H station (: It's damn comforting lah, to see Dodo fishballs, Lee Kum Kee sauces, frozen gyozas, curry pastes etc. Even the shops smell damn... asian. You know, that provision shop smell haha. Anyway that's me cooking (miss gwee will be proud!) fishball egg vegetable soup with noodles. Haha but isaac was right, it looks and was damn healthy because it was damn bland haha because we forgot to buy salt hurhur.

Jingmin and her smu friends came to erm, visit, kinda. Rather, they came to deposit their luggage with me before heading to Greece (: Anyway yeah here, everyone cycles and you can bring your bike onto the train! I'm still slowly searching for a used bicycle though, something that short me can ride on. The danish people are damn tall, argh.

Next up, Canal Tour and day trip to Roskilde! (:
