swadeekaa phadthai tomyum chatuchak tuktuk !

so erm, about one month ago, on a bright and sunny thursday, we dragged our suitcases to school and after public law lecture, hopped on a plane and flewww to BANGKOKKK, baby! :)

4 destitute people (1 headless) and 1 handsome cigarette peddler sitting on suitcases waiting for risse's dad outside his apartment at ploenchit.





at suan lum where the ferris wheel had already been torn down :/ only photos of charlene because the lovebirds were sourcing for furniture for their lovenest and mok was wandering making friends with gay thai dudes. and i forgot to bring them to that nice coffee place in suan lum.




the next day, we woke up bright and early and ended up at siam paragon. got excited seeing the club21 bazaar sale (got red carpet somemore heh) and bought too many pairs of bras and shoes (: i think after siam paragon we headed to pratunum but expectedly, there are no photos because no one takes photos when they are struggling with 3248202 shopping bags.






that night, we went to chinaaatowwn for dinner it was the most gratifying meal we had in a goddamn long time. sharksfin, fishmaw, giant prawns, steamed fish, kangkong, sotong, tomyum! (: impossibly shiok after that (except for charlene the glutton who ate waaay too much lah).







and then we hopped off to sirocco for drinks and a wonderful view on the 63rd floor of silom state tower! spectacular view of the chao praya river and the blinking lights of bangkok city (: oh and where we had to hold on to our wine glasses to prevent them from toppling.





the next morning we went to chatuchak, which i believe is the hottest, most humid and most crowded place in southeast asia. again, not much photos because there were too many cheap useless things to buy and too much street food (bacon sausage rolls, chinchow with brown sugar, charsiew, gyoza!) to eat.





to prevent ourselves from melting in the heat, we sought shelter in the shopping malls. chueie bought more ridiculous shoes (never even see you wear at all since we came back) and bras. and risse & jgan kinda disappeared (the truth is, i can't remember where you went). and me and mok went to central world to shop but erm, ended up lazing at starbucks that ubiquitous green mermaid was everywhere and we were addicted to green tea frappes :/ and we realised that studying at starbucks is a global phenomenon. oh and we went to collect mok's suits from pinky (yes that's the tailor's name).





that night, we headed to RCA where we drank johnny walker that was too cheap, danced with damn oldskool rnb/hiphop songs (complete with mtv!), gawked at the band in the female toilet at route 66, and used an armchair to cover up jgan's puke (yes O_o). went back and the domestic goddesses cooked/microwaved supper.
