headlamps making patterns on the wall
this week in peektures — of happy birthdays and general swayness.
(1) on a leisurely thursday morning, i excused myself from class, in my attempt to be productive and ended up at serangoon gardens. and i succeded, against all odds ("taaake a loook at me nowww").
(2) we pretended to be lawyers and pretended to advise some huge-ass medical conglomerate on how to kope some high-and-mighty doctors from a old-age home owned by money-grabbing nuns. although by 3am, we were contemplating alernative careers. alec looks like he can be a gym trainer and erm, i think i'll just be a paralegal who excels at formatting and making diagrams.
(3) we had breakfast at annatoes' — in celebration of anna's twentyfirst (although i know the group picture below seems to tell us that it is beek's birthday, but no)! we ate cinnamon swirl buns from provence, isaac (refer to triumphant face below) was brilliant at powerpuff monopoly, my week-long swayness extended to being fabulously lousy at uno, and i happily forgot to bring anna's wonderful present-from-everyone and had to drive back to get it.
(4) we celebrate alvina's twentyfirst at timbre at the arts house (: happy birthday babe, please be in eager anticipation of our present to you, which lynn promises will be beautiful heh. anyway babe im damn damn sad that i didnt get to eat your pretty cake.
(5) kyla turns three! (: and we had a lovely picnik at the botaniks. there was children running around, dogs (which desiree was afraid of) eating chocolate and miraculously surviving and much chasing after bubbles (: and damnit, we aint 'aunties', we're jiejies!
okay that all. recess week is here.
hmm in primary school we spent recess doing (copying) homework.
i guess, some things dont change after all, even if you're in university!
