headlamps making patterns on the wall
this week in peektures — of happy birthdays and general swayness.
(1) on a leisurely thursday morning, i excused myself from class, in my attempt to be productive and ended up at serangoon gardens. and i succeded, against all odds ("taaake a loook at me nowww").
(2) we pretended to be lawyers and pretended to advise some huge-ass medical conglomerate on how to kope some high-and-mighty doctors from a old-age home owned by money-grabbing nuns. although by 3am, we were contemplating alernative careers. alec looks like he can be a gym trainer and erm, i think i'll just be a paralegal who excels at formatting and making diagrams.
(3) we had breakfast at annatoes' — in celebration of anna's twentyfirst (although i know the group picture below seems to tell us that it is beek's birthday, but no)! we ate cinnamon swirl buns from provence, isaac (refer to triumphant face below) was brilliant at powerpuff monopoly, my week-long swayness extended to being fabulously lousy at uno, and i happily forgot to bring anna's wonderful present-from-everyone and had to drive back to get it.
(4) we celebrate alvina's twentyfirst at timbre at the arts house (: happy birthday babe, please be in eager anticipation of our present to you, which lynn promises will be beautiful heh. anyway babe im damn damn sad that i didnt get to eat your pretty cake.
(5) kyla turns three! (: and we had a lovely picnik at the botaniks. there was children running around, dogs (which desiree was afraid of) eating chocolate and miraculously surviving and much chasing after bubbles (: and damnit, we aint 'aunties', we're jiejies!
okay that all. recess week is here.
hmm in primary school we spent recess doing (copying) homework.
i guess, some things dont change after all, even if you're in university!

i am a vampire i have lost my fangs
kennedy's rotting oranges for erm luck, and the red dior homme for prosperity!
was this just last week? during public law lecture i think, when we went barking mad. i like photobooth; makes me look fresh-faced and mok, erm, thai.
during erm, an elle-cee-ass meeting. i really dont know what the fck we were doing, on both that front and erm, as you can see here.
saturday; marmalade pantry (: for crabmeat linguine with pinenuts, pesto chicken wholemeal wrap and sticky date pudding! i apologise for only having a photo of the placemat haha.
a haiku i hereby dedicate to mok (the spendthrift, your fingers say so!), which i found in an old edition of catalogue magazine.
and junya watanabe says, happy (belated) valentines' day, loves! <3

where the streets have no name
Dearest R,
Learn how to say 'Fuck off' to the world. Let these people continue being the fucked ups they are. Remember, they've let you down before and they will continue to, for sure. Without Reciprocity (don't believe that they say), Care is overrated. Be less Obsessed. Don't try and change things. They don't deserve to be Happy. You do. You did all their Dirty Work for Free.
I wish you Joy. Go and Be Happy.
Love, Rae (your alter ego).
